Since 1979, Benson Area Medical Center has been a provider of quality medical care for many in our community. Today, approximately 12,000 people in southern Johnston, Harnett and Sampson counties call Benson Area Medical Center their “doctor’s office”.
We want to continue to be that place where everyone can receive quality medical care. And, we want to be on the cutting edge of providing excellent, cost effective care to our growing community. That is why we need your help.
As a community owned non-profit, we partner with others to meet the healthcare needs of our community. Some of these include:
NC Office of Rural Health & Community Care which assists us with funding to provide medical visits to low income patients.
South Johnston High School where we provide free sports physicals.
The N.C. Farmworkers Project which provides funding for a Thursday evening clinic hold which provides medical visits for farm workers.
Interfaith Food Shuttle to provide individuals and families with healthy food.
Wake Forest University School of Medicine where we provide space for a research study on the effect of pesticides on farmworkers.
Please consider the type of gift you would like to make to help us continue the work at Benson Area Medical Center. As a 501(c) 3, your gift is considered a charitable donation.
Please feel free to contact me for future information or to come and see first hand the work taking place at Benson Area Medical Center.
